NextMate matches a driver leaving a parking space with a nearby driver searching for one. No browsing, no picking a spot from a list — the match happens automatically between the two drivers.
Two modes
You choose a mode when you set up your account, and you can switch later.
Everyday Driver
Tell NextMate you are leaving, and it looks for a nearby driver who is searching. They hear that a space is opening up; you get on your way.
A match is tentative, not a reservation. A driver who is not using NextMate can always reach the space first, so the app is a coordinator between drivers, never a claim on a space.
Drivers who indicate they hold an accessible parking permit are matched with accessible spaces. That setting is self-reported, off by default, and never shown to anyone else.
Commercial Driver
Built around what drivers working a route actually need:
- Parking locations and notes — places to stop, shared by other drivers, with their notes and opinions attached.
- Road Alerts — conditions worth knowing about, posted by drivers and confirmed or disputed by the ones who pass them next.
- Marketplace — a trucker-to-trucker board for buying and selling gear. NextMate is the connector, never the transaction: no payments, no fees, no escrow, no shipping. Sellers are identified by a username they choose, not their real name.
- Driver Card — a QR code that shows facility staff who you are and how to reach you, without a walk back to the cab. It is not a government-issued ID, and nothing on it is verified by NextMate.
Coming soon
NextMate is still in development. It is not on the App Store or Google Play yet, and there is no public sign-up. This page exists so the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy below have a permanent home.

What we do not collect
NextMate does not collect driver's license information or full license plate numbers. A vehicle is identified to another driver only by its type, color, brand and model, and the last few characters of its plate. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
